ACTIVE REGISTER SALES CONTRACT

 

This Active Register Sales Contract (“Agreement”) is made on [Date] between the following parties:

4. Conditions of Sale

4.1 Registration

The cat/kitten described in this Agreement is sold on the Active Register. Registration details will be provided once full payment has been received and all contractual obligations are met.

 

4.2 Purchase Price

The agreed purchase price is £[amount], payable in full prior to release of the animal.

All export-related costs shall be borne by the Purchaser.

 

4.3 Breeding and Transfer Restrictions

The cat/kitten must not be sold, leased, or transferred for breeding unless spayed or neutered unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The animal must not be sold to pet shops, research facilities, or used in clinical trials.

 

5. No Guarantees

No cash refunds for infertility or congenital defects.

No guarantee of show success or cosmetic traits.

 

6. Health Guarantee

The cat/kitten is sold in good health, vaccinated, microchipped, and parasite treated.

The Purchaser must arrange a veterinary check within 72 hours of receipt.

If a serious health issue is identified with written veterinary proof, the animal may be returned for a refund of the purchase price only.

 

7. Care and Welfare Obligations

The cat/kitten must be kept indoors, with secure or supervised outdoor access only.

Pet insurance is strongly recommended.

The Vendor is not liable for veterinary expenses after transfer.

Adequate care, nutrition, and companionship must be provided.

 

8. Rehoming, Breeding Cessation & Repossession

If the Purchaser cannot continue care, the Vendor must be notified.

The Vendor retains right of first refusal.

Any breach, neglect, or mistreatment results in unconditional surrender with no refund.

 

9. Final Provisions

Ownership transfers upon execution of this Agreement and full payment.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
