“Meet our Bengal explorer! He’s entered the living room on a top-secret mission. Tail up, eyes wide—GO, GO, GO! Nobody knows where he’s going… including him!”
“He charges forward, skids around the furniture and checks every corner. SNIFF! LOOK! POUNCE! ‘Area secure! Wait… what’s THAT over there?!’”
“UP he goes! One jump, two paws, SCRAMBLE, CLIMB! Our tiny adventurer has discovered higher ground. ‘Excellent! From here I can supervise the entire house!’”
“Suddenly—MOVEMENT! He spins around, races across and dives straight into another investigation. ‘Stand back! Professional kitten coming through!’”
“Now he’s climbing again! Front paws pulling, back legs kicking—SCRAMBLE, SCRAMBLE! Nothing can stop him. Well… except possibly dinner.”
“WAIT! He freezes. His eyes lock onto something mysterious. The television! But he’s not interested in the programme. Oh no… he’s spotted something MUCH better.”
“THE TV BUTTONS! He moves in slowly. One paw reaches forward… TAP! ‘Interesting.’ TAP-TAP! ‘VERY interesting! I believe I’m now an electrical engineer.’”
“PRESS! PRESS! PRESS! ‘Volume up! Volume down! Channel change! Where’s the chicken button?!’ He checks again. ‘There MUST be a chicken button!’”
“Suddenly he’s off! ZOOM! Across the room, around the corner and straight back again! ‘I’ve pressed everything! If the television explodes, I was never here!’”
“Another kitten appears. ‘What are you doing?’ Our explorer whispers, ‘I’ve discovered human technology.’ ‘Do you know how it works?’ ‘Absolutely not. WATCH THIS!’”
“TAP! DASH! POUNCE! And he makes his escape! Mission complete: room explored, furniture climbed, TV buttons pressed—and absolutely nothing learned. Tomorrow’s mission… STEAL THE REMOTE CONTROL
